Yahaya, the DELSUTH chairman of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, MDCAN, reports say was snatched on Tuesday at around 8:30pm while attempting to enter his compound at Amukpe, Sapele, Delta.

The President of the DELSUTH Association of Resident Doctors, ARD, Dr. Honest Okocha, who confirmed the episode, said the abductors have effectively reached his family, requesting a payoff of N15 million.

Okocha said: "However the matter has been accounted for to the security agents in the zone, including the police, it is for sure disheartening that specialists who chance their lives to render philanthropic services to the public are bit by bit getting to be jeopardized species particularly inside Oghara and its environs."
