THE Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, yesterday joined the family of the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, at the outing service for their late patriarch, Pa Pius Ngige.

Other dignitaries at the event were the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, businessman and oil magnate, Chief Arthur Eze, Senator Stella Oduah and Senator Ben Obi.

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Electricity Regulation Agency, Dr. Tony Akah, was also present, among others.

In his message, Osinbajo described Pa Ngige as a “good man who left good legacies and inheritance for his children”, just as he prayed for God’s mercy and peace upon the Ngige family and the Anambra government for the irreparable loss.

The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Onitsha, Most Rev. Denis Isizoh in his sermon at the service, called on Nigerians to love and cohabit with each other, as they were one in God irrespective of their religious differences.
