Kehinde Olatubosun, 56, who is from Ibadan, Oyo state unveiled that he earned N300, 000 month to month. Sum most graduates can just long for winning, that is the thing that this poor person cum drug someone who is addicted earned every month from his trade.

However, he came up short on fortunes on Saturday night, January 23, when he along 18 other drug addicts was arrested by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos Police Command at a joint in Ipodo region of Ikeja.

Olatubosun admitted that he made over N300, 000 month to month from asking in Ikeja.

According to Premium Times report, the RRS had on Monday night followed a stolen telephone to the joint, leading to the arrest of a three-man posse of cellular telephone cheats, three hard drug vendors and 13 drug addicts.

The suspect revealed that he made over N10,000 day by day asking at the Mobolaji Bank Anthony Roundabout; close to the Lagos State  University Teaching Hospital; Toyin street.

Olatubosun said: "All days of the week, I'm generally in Mobolaji Bank Anthony Roundabout, Toyin Street indirect and Opebi. On occasion, I work together with homeless people. Whatever we make, we share yet I get a bigger offer," said the suspect.

"What I do is that, I get LASUTH drug solution papers. I get it from their waste receptacle. With this in my hand, I persuade drivers, travelers and bystanders that I have a relative who is in desperate need of cash to purchase drugs and I show them the remedy papers.

"This is the thing that I have been doing since I was ousted from Germany in 2004. Before the expulsion, I was filling in as Electrical Engineer in Bauhusa, Colon, Germany. I was in Germany for a long time before I was deported."

The suspect further expressed that he was extradited from Germany after he was gotten possessing hard drugs.

"I have four youngsters. Two are in Germany with my wife. One is in Texas, United States and another in Nigeria," he said.

"Unfortunately, all the cash I make from this asking goes into drugs. For quite a while, I am dependably there, seven days a week. I profit on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I make more than N10,000:00 on weekends.

"As I identify with you, I'm not on drugs yet I am encountering withdrawal indications, that is, the impact of not taking drugs for now and again," he said.

He clarified that he was arrested at the Ipodo drug joint when the RRS men struck the spot including that it was the first occasion when he would be arrested.
