Sheikh Ibrahim El'Zakzaky has been sent to another country for medicinal treatment.

The Embattled leader was traveled to France or treatment of firearm shot wounds he endured amid the encounter between his supporters and members of the Nigerian armed force last year.

According to The Vanguard, the news was confirmed by military sources in Abuja on Saturday, January 23.

Several security sources who are knowledgeable in the matter, revealed that because of the earnestness of the wounds the Shiite leader managed a conflict with the armed force, he was subtly traveled to France by the Nigerian government a few weeks prior for treatment before being come back to the country two weeks ago.

Since the conflict between the group and the Military, his whereabouts has been covered in mystery until it was revealed that he was moved from Kaduna to a protected house in Abuja belonging to one of the security services.

One of the sources said: "the reality of the matter is that the federal government flew him out of the country for treatment. He was stabilized before he was taken back to Nigeria. The government would not have liked to take risks by keeping him in the country. We didn't need a rehash of the rate with the late leader of the Boko Haram development whose demise in care exacerbated the emergency in the north east".

It would be recalled that amid the bleeding encounter between members of the Shiites and the Nigerian armed force, several members of the organization were killed while numerous others supported different degrees of wounds with some still on confirmation at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Shika close Zaria.

The showed occured, taking after an affirmed rift over a barricade mounted by members of the group along the Zaria-sokoto street. The barrier apparently kept the caravan of the head of Army staff from going through regardless of several entreaties.
