Thousands of people in Belarus have taken to their different social media platforms to showcase how they are ‘working unclad’ in line with their president’s speech.

Reports claim that the Belarusian president, Alexander Lukashenko, mixed up his words during a speech on new technology. But the citizens are not taking it likely; they are are posting pictures and videos of themselves n@.kkd and scantily-clad at work after their 61-year-old president suffered an unfortunate slip of the tongue.

During his speech on new technology, President Lukashenko said: “Innovations, IT-technologies, privatisation – it is all clear. We’ve conquered all of them. But everything is very simply, one should get undressed and work.”

He had wanted to tell them to ‘develop themselves’ but it is too late as the citizens have taken to social media with the hashtags #getn@.kkdandgotowork, #раздеватьсяиработать and #getn@.kkdandwork to showcase how they are n@.kkd at work, doing everything needed to get stuff done.

Since then, Belarusians have posted dozens of photos showing themselves n@.kkd at their workplace: be it at a desk, behind an industrial oven in a restaurant kitchen or even on a construction site. This tongue-in-cheek campaign was launched on Friday, June 24 (the day after the president’s words).

Lool! These oyinbos have been looking for a way to undress before jor!
